Some things are just the right size, even when they're HUMONGOUS.

Dai-chan dreams of making sushi as beautiful as Papa's, but his hands make it GIANT, GIGANTIC, and ABSOLUTELY HUMONGOUS instead. Snapped chopsticks, dropped salmon eggs, and one very surprised foot follow. Just when he's ready to give up, a hungry crowd of very big guests shows up at the door, and it turns out Dai-chan's big sushi might be exactly what someone's been hungry for all along.

A warm, silly story about trying your best, being different, and finding out that different doesn't mean worse, perfect for storytime, bedtime, or any curious young reader who loves food, Japan, or a good laugh.
